“Open,” “Calibrating.” Two Quiet Reflections from the Room
Every Reflection Room session unfolds differently. Some guests arrive seeking clarity or direction. Others simply want to pause and see what happens when they give themselves space — or are simply curious to try something new.
Recently, two guests shared their reflections — one described their experience as Open, another as Calibrating. Their words capture the quiet power of this work far better than any explanation could.
Each reflection is shared with permission and with my gratitude.
“Open.”
I was looking for clarity and a challenge — and Chie helped me uncover where my mission truly comes from. She guided me to ask better questions without giving me advice.
We met in the middle of a chaotic week for me. It became exactly the oasis I needed to re-focus my thoughts and move to the next step.
It’s funny, but I still think the closest thing to the Reflection Room is talking to a bartender — someone who listens deeply and subtly guides. More of this is necessary in our modern world.
“Calibrating.”
I was interested to see what the space would be like and to meet someone facilitating a callout for silent leaders. I just wanted to experience something new.
The space was insightful and gave me a lot to reflect on — how I hold space for myself and for others.
Honestly, it seemed like it was exactly what was needed at the time.
I recommend this experience to other leaders because, at the end of the day, leading is the capacity to hold space for others to learn and grow.
Chie shows how to do this incredibly well.
Each guest leaves the Reflection Room with their own word, a personal frequency of insight.
It’s not a place to be fixed — it’s a space to pause, listen, and realign.
If you’re curious, explore The Reflection Room.
